Life as a Medical Assistant

Well, it has been almost 4 months since I have had a post on here. I honestly have missed it as well. It was so nice to be able to just sit down for a short amount of time and type out my thoughts and emotions at that time.
I do not get that luxury very much anymore. Life is crazy, life is hectic! I am always on the go- always a step behind it seems. I LOVE my new job and am so incredibly happy that I have it-- I just have lost time to do other things that I also love. Finding extended times to read has become a thing of the past. I may read a couple chapters 2-3 nights a week but even that is pushing it some times. I know you cannot have it all  I am not complaining-- just expressing 😆

Life as a medical assistant is no joke!! The hours are long and exhausting at times and as a whole people can be very rude.  I have seen in my last 3 months at this job some of the nicest people and some of the worst! The people I work with are great and extremely welcoming which made the transition so much easier. I am still learning and probably will be for awhile because each new day brings its new challenges.
Mom duties are never ending as well! And Charlotte (who is now 3 ["free" as she says])can be super sweet or a living nightmare. Some days it takes every part of me to just not scream and shut myself in my room with a snickers or kit kat… I am not even kidding.
Taylor is doing well this semester in pharmacy school as he has in the past and our time here in Auburn has been 1 year and 4 months and some days feels like it hasn't been any time at all! We miss home and we miss our friends and family but for now we have made ourselves a nice home here in Auburn and have found a few key friends that help mellow out the craziness that our lives seem to be swimming through.
This jumbled mess of information honestly doesn't have a whole lot of substance-- I just wanted to get some of my thoughts written down while I had the house to myself so to speak (Charlotte asleep, Koopa asleep, and Taylor out playing basketball-- at 9:30 at night...)
I will add some cute pictures that are decently recent

Until next time!
